Mass flow meters and controllers for gases now with Profibus

The instruments feature analog signals as standard (4 – 20 mA, 0 – 5 V, ...) and an RS-485 digital interface. As well as the analog interface, the customer has the choice of a MODBUS interface, which enables simple integration with existing systems.
Versions for the PROFIBUS Fieldbus connection are now also available.
Thanks to these communication options and standardized output signals, the instruments can be used with greater flexibility and allow a high degree of automation for any application.

red-y smart: Measure and regulate several gases with one device

The economical solution for flexible use: Use a single measurement or control device for different gases and save yourself the cost of additional devices.
The thermal mass flow meter and controller of the 'red-y smart series' offer you the possibility to switch between different types of gas without having to remove or recalibrate.
Several calibration curves can be saved on one device and selected using the software supplied, thanks to digital technology. This means you can use the measuring and controlling devices flexibly at a constantly high accuracy.

'red-y for gasflow': example of a modular construction application

The modular construction enables the customer to also employ the 'red-y' as a flow module. The flow measurement and control can thus be integrated by the customer in a block. This application is in ever-greater demand in the area of gas supply.
The pictured aluminum block is an example of an application in which multiple functions are integrated: pressure reduction, pressure gauge and flow measurement. The customer thus saves on the costs of supply lines, boltings and above all space.

The Process Control Units PCU100 and PCU800 are an optimal complement to the instruments of the smart series. They enhance the visualization and regulation of the thermal mass meters and controllers and expand the instruments with additional functions.
